I think that that was very terrible and very horrible, and government should definitely regulate. Those activity, and also like. Some teenagers. And I also I think government should limit the minimal age. To use those new technology. I think those kind of things are are very addictive, because they are just designed to be addictive.

Do you like singing?

Yes, I really like singing. I am a vocalist in my school band, and we cover a lot of classic rock songs.

Have you ever learned how to sing when you were a kid?

Yes. When I was a child, I took several singing classes. They were not professional classes because I only learned singing as a hobby.

Who do you usually sing to?

I usually sing to myself, and sometimes I sing with my friends in the school band. If I get the chance, I also sing for an audience.

Do you have a good memory?

I had a good memory when I was in high school because I had many things to memorize, such as chemistry formulas and English vocabulary. However, my university major does not require me to memorize as much, so I think this skill is deteriorating.

Have you ever forgotten anything important?

Yes. Last semester, when I was studying at another school as an exchange student, I forgot the deadline for an important assignment. Fortunately, my professor was kind and allowed me to hand it in late. Otherwise, I might have failed that course.

Describe a technological problem you have faced. You should say what the problem is, how you fixed it, how it made you feel, and whether it was difficult to fix.

A challenging technological problem I faced was having to use an old computer for a whole semester. My mother gave me the computer, but it was already very old and difficult to use. The biggest problem was its speed. It sometimes took almost two minutes to open a website or a Word document. It also had very little storage space, so whenever I wanted to download an academic app or a document, I had to delete something first. The screen was small and dim, which meant I often had to stare at it. Its battery was also poor, so I had to carry a charger to class every time. Both the computer and the charger were heavy. These problems made me feel stressed. I could manage some of them by deleting files and carrying the charger, but I could not really fix the old computer itself. Fortunately, I got a new computer this semester, so I no longer have to deal with those problems.

Do you think technology has changed our lives?

Yes, definitely. Technology has changed our lives in both positive and negative ways. One disadvantage I have noticed is that AI may make people less patient with real people. AI can answer a question in one second, while people need time to think and organize their ideas. People who are used to quick and consistent AI answers may therefore become impatient during real conversations. However, technology is also useful. Students can give AI their course materials and ask it to summarize key points or create quizzes, and it can also help workers with many tasks.

Why do you think it can be difficult for older people to learn to adapt to new technology?

I think there are two main reasons: one is objective and the other is subjective. Objectively, some devices and apps are not designed for older people. A smartphone may have a small or dim screen, and complicated apps can be confusing, especially for people with eyesight problems. Subjectively, some older people may resist new technology or avoid asking for help because they feel that doing so could hurt their pride or authority.

Do you think the government should regulate new technologies like AI technology?

Yes, definitely. Some people might use AI to scam others by faking their voices or making fake pictures, so the government should regulate these activities. I also think there should be age limits for some new technologies. These products can be designed to be addictive, and teenagers may not have enough self-control, so they might use them mindlessly.
