五、本节课口语段子改进版

课后学习范例(基于课堂学生真实作答与内容逻辑生成的自然口语文本,供课后复习与发音练习)

Where is your hometown?

答案朗读 1

My hometown is in Qinghai Province, which is located in the northwest of China. It's quite far away from Beijing. I really like my hometown because it's a place that is largely untouched and features a lot of stunning landscapes.

Do you plan to live in your hometown in the future?

答案朗读 2

To be honest, no. Although there are many beautiful landscapes, there aren't a lot of good job opportunities because the city's economy is relatively small. I just couldn't imagine bright prospects for my career progression there.

Do you think you spend too much time on social media?

答案朗读 3

Yes, I definitely do. For example, I probably spend four to five hours on social media every day. I know it's a waste of time, but it's just too addictive, and I simply cannot stop myself.

Do your friends use social media?

答案朗读 4

Yes, they do. Actually, that's a very important reason why I use it myself—because all my friends are on it. Sometimes, if you don't use it, you can easily feel outdated or left out of the loop.

What kind of things do people usually post on social media?

答案朗读 5

People post all kinds of things. They share memorable moments from their lives, their favorite hobbies, or videos of themselves singing and dancing. Some people also post text to express their emotions, and occasionally those posts can be a bit negative, which can sometimes have an influence on my own mood.

Do you like shopping?

答案朗读 6

Well, not really. I think shopping can sometimes make me feel a little bit nervous or anxious because I have to make decisions constantly and instantly, which can feel like a burden to me.

Do you prefer shopping online or in store?

答案朗读 7

If I do have to go shopping, I prefer shopping online. I have more time to pick out my favorite things, and I don't need to worry about a salesperson standing next to me and constantly speaking to me, which makes me anxious. Also, there are more choices online, so I can browse different brands and compare prices easily.

How often do you go shopping?

答案朗读 8

I think I go shopping on a monthly basis.

Describe a TV show that you watched recently that's interesting to you. You should say what the TV show is about, and why you find it interesting.

答案朗读 9

A TV show that I recently watched and found very interesting is called The Office. It's an American comedy. At first, my boyfriend kept recommending it to me, so we decided to watch it together. Initially, I didn't really enjoy it because the jokes in the show could be a little bit cringey, and sometimes even offensive. Also, the characters didn't seem very respectful and felt a bit flat to me. We only watched the first season and then turned to other shows. However, after we ran out of other shows to watch about two months ago, we decided to give it another chance. Finally, I started to get its humor, perhaps because the actors had also found their pace. My favorite character in the show is Dwight. He's actually a little bit weird; he's obsessed with authority and has a strict set of personal disciplines. I really like him because he uses those disciplines to regulate himself, which makes him a very consistent person. Also, he sometimes shows genuine care for his friends, which is very heartwarming. Each episode is only about 40 minutes, so it's the perfect show to watch during dinner.

What kinds of TV programs are popular in your country?

答案朗读 10

Well, I think foreign TV shows are really popular among young adults, while domestically produced shows tend to be much more popular among older generations.

Why are young people drawn to foreign shows?

答案朗读 11

I think it's because many domestically made TV shows are either related to war or focus on boring romantic relationships, which don't hold much attraction for young people. Foreign television shows, on the other hand, cover a wide range of subjects and feature very vivid characters, so they are much more attractive to younger audiences.

How are the TV shows in your country produced today different compared to those produced in the past?

答案朗读 12

The subjects have become much more varied today. In the past, basically all of them were about patriotism or huge topics that were far away from our daily lives. Right now, domestically produced TV shows pay more attention to the daily lives of ordinary people. I think this can generate more empathy and makes the shows much more relatable. Also, they are better produced nowadays because production companies have more funding and receive more government support, giving them the chance to incorporate high-quality special effects and sound effects.

Do you think people will watch less TV in the future?

答案朗读 13

I don't think people will watch less TV in the future. After all, it's a really good way to relax and it's an activity that is suitable for all age groups, from little children to older people. Everyone can find their favorite TV shows. Also, with the continuous development of technology, people will likely have more spare time in the future, so watching TV will remain a great way to kill time.
