五、本节课口语段子改进版

课后学习范例(基于课堂学生原始思路和老师纠错方向整理,非学生现场原话)

Have you ever sent handmade gifts to others?

答案朗读 1

Yes, I've given a lot of handmade gifts to my friends. Compared to store-bought items, I prefer making them myself because I feel it's a more sincere way to express my affection and best wishes to them.

What would you consider when choosing a gift?

答案朗读 2

I'd take several factors into account, mainly focusing on my friend's preferences. For example, I'd consider what their favorite colors and hobbies are, and then choose something that matches those interests and is also fun.

What kind of gifts do people in your country tend to send each other?

答案朗读 3

I think younger people tend to choose gifts that align with their friends' hobbies. For instance, if a friend is into running, they might buy them AirPods for listening to music on the go. Or, they might buy a CD or poster of their friend's favorite band. For older people, I think practical gifts are more popular, such as fruit, food, or gift cards.

Are you still in touch with your primary school teacher?

答案朗读 4

Not really. When I was in primary school, I was the kind of student who was very well-behaved and didn't cause any trouble for the teachers to worry about. Because I didn't require much extra attention, we didn't build a very deep bond, and we haven't stayed in touch.

Do you have a favorite teacher?

答案朗读 5

Yes, definitely. My favorite teacher is a philosophy professor I met while doing an exchange program at Lingnan University in Hong Kong. I really liked him because his teaching style was excellent; he always managed to make complicated arguments and technical terms very easy to understand.

What was your favorite food when you were a kid?

答案朗读 6

When I was a kid, I absolutely loved sweet food. I was obsessed with candies, cakes, and any beverages that contained a lot of sugar.

Has your favorite food changed since you were a child?

答案朗读 7

Yes, my preferences have changed a lot. As I mentioned, I loved sweets as a child, but now I prefer spicy food. There are two main reasons for this. First, I realize now that too much sweet food isn't very healthy. Second, spicy food gives me a much stronger and more stimulating flavor experience.

Describe an activity you attended in which you didn't enjoy the music much

答案朗读 8

I'd like to talk about an event I attended where the music completely ruined the experience. It was the grand opening of a new bookstore near my apartment. My friends and I decided to go because we wanted to check out the atmosphere and take advantage of their special opening offers. However, it turned out to be a really unpleasant experience, mainly because of the music. In an attempt to make the customers feel more free and relaxed, the bookstore allowed people to play their own music over the speakers. You just had to connect your phone via Bluetooth. This made the atmosphere incredibly chaotic because everyone has different musical tastes. One person would play K-pop, and then someone else would put on heavy metal. It made the bookstore incredibly loud, and I just couldn't relax or focus on the books at all. The music was so distracting and jarring. Overall, the poorly managed music completely defeated the purpose of a quiet bookstore environment.

What are the differences between listening to music at home and at a live concert?

答案朗读 9

I think there's a huge difference. First, listening to music at home is much more relaxing. You can lie down on your sofa or even take a nap while listening. On the other hand, going to a live concert is a much more active and immersive experience. You can jump and dance to the music with your friends, and really feel the strong beat and pulse. The atmosphere at a concert is always incredibly energetic and exciting.

What are the differences between the music that old people like and young people like?

答案朗读 10

I think older people generally prefer music that is quieter and more relaxing, like classical music or instrumental pieces without vocals. It's not too loud or intense, so it helps them unwind. Also, older people often prefer domestically produced music. In contrast, young people tend to listen to a lot of foreign music; for example, K-pop is hugely popular among teenagers globally. Younger people also enjoy genres like rock or metal because the high energy helps them let off steam and express their personalities.

Do you think children should receive musical education?

答案朗读 11

Yes, absolutely. I think music is a vital part of life. For children, music can be a wonderful way to communicate and bond with teachers and parents, and it's also just a pure form of enjoyment. Furthermore, studies have shown that participating in group musical activities, like singing in a choir, helps children feel more connected to others and can significantly improve their communication and teamwork skills.

Why do many people like listening to music while doing sports?

答案朗读 12

I think there are two main reasons. First, music distracts people from the physical strain and fatigue of working out. For instance, when running feels particularly tough, a good playlist can help you forget the pain and keep going. Second, many people prefer rhythmic music when exercising because it sets a good pace. It helps you maintain a steady rhythm and also gives you a sense of how much time has passed, since you know a typical song is about three or four minutes long.
