答案朗读 2

No. On weekdays, my morning time is more limited, so I need to get up early, take a quick shower, grab some coffee or snacks, and rush to school. But on weekends, my morning time is more flexible, so I can take my time, enjoy the smell of coffee, take a casual shower, and have a nice breakfast.

Do you have more free time on weekdays, or at weekends?

Of course I have more spare time on weekends, because I am still in university and I have a lot of classes on weekdays. But on weekends, I have fewer things to do, so I can hang out with my friends or read some papers.

Which day do you have more free time on Saturday or Sunday?

答案朗读 4

I think Saturday is more flexible, because Sunday always comes with a sense of anxiety. Monday is coming, but on Saturday I know I still have one more day to relax, so I can stay up late and do whatever I want.

Did you keep your room tidy as a child?

答案朗读 5

No, I didn't keep my room tidy as a child. If my memory serves me right, my mom always told me to clean my room, and she even got mad at me about that. So I think I was not good at cleaning my room when I was a child, and I didn't enjoy it.

Do you think it is necessary to be tidy?

答案朗读 6

No, I don't think it is always necessary to be tidy, because different people have different standards. Some people want to make their rooms as tidy as they can, but for other people, as long as they can find what they need, that is enough.

How do you keep your work or study space tidy?

答案朗读 7

My best habit is to put everything back where it belongs after using it. Sometimes I just leave things where they are, and my desk can end up messy, so putting things back is really helpful.

Yes, definitely. Chinese people really like comedy because it is suitable for all kinds of people and all age groups. Everyone can find something they like in comedy.

Are you good at telling jokes?

答案朗读 9

No, I don't think I'm good at telling jokes, because I have a strange sense of humor. Sometimes I try to tell jokes that I think are very funny, but people just don't get them.

Do you like to watch comedies?

答案朗读 10

I think it depends on my mood. If I am worried, upset, or stressed, I really like watching comedies. But if I feel relaxed and have nothing to do, I would prefer drama.

Do your friends like to tell jokes?

答案朗读 11

I think yes, but all my friends have the same strange sense of humor as me, so I don't know how other people feel about our jokes.

Do you prefer sad or happy music?

答案朗读 12

It depends on my mood and what I am doing. If I am upset or stressed, I prefer sad music because it can magnify my emotions and fit my mood. It is a good outlet for me. But if I am happy or just riding my bike, I prefer happy music.

Does happy music make you feel more excited?

答案朗读 13

I think music with meaningful lyrics makes me feel more excited, no matter whether it is happy or sad.

答案朗读 14

I'm not particularly fond of listening to other people sing. I would prefer singing myself.

Yes. When I was a child, I used to take some singing classes, but I am not professional. It is just a form of enjoyment and a hobby.

Do most people prefer shopping at big stores or small stores?

答案朗读 17

I think most people prefer shopping at big stores because the products in big stores are more reliable. It is rare to buy something that is broken or some food that is rotten, so it can save you a lot of trouble. Also, big stores offer a better variety of things, so you can find many things in one place.

What makes businesses fail?

答案朗读 18

I think one main reason is that some businesses fail to innovate. The market changes really quickly nowadays, so if a business stops innovating, it cannot maintain a competitive position in the market and it may be outcompeted. Also, some businesses are poorly managed, so they cannot keep good people around and may lose talent.

Why do some people start their own business?

答案朗读 19

I think there are two main reasons. One is that they want more income. If they work for other people, their salaries are fixed, but if they start their own business, they take on more risks and may get bigger returns. The other reason is freedom. They do not need to follow other people's directions, and they can choose their own projects and make their own rules.

What makes a business successful?

答案朗读 20

I think one important factor is that a business can follow the trend. Successful businesses are able to hire creative and original people, innovate a lot, and stay in a competitive position in the market. They also need to keep good people around.

Why does modern society need talents of all kinds?

答案朗读 21

Modern society needs talents of all kinds because there are more and more different needs. In the farming age, people mainly needed farming skills, and during industrialization, many people worked in factories. But nowadays, possibilities are endless, and we are seeing a higher degree of division of labor. Different jobs and different needs require different talents.

Is it important for schools to identify and develop each student's talents?

答案朗读 22

Yes, I think it is very important. In a perfect world, every student's talents can be seen and developed, so students can have a sense of achievement and contribute to society. Society can also benefit from this. But in reality, sometimes it is like forcing a monkey to swim and a fish to climb a tree. It is unfair to students, and not every student can realize their full potential.

How do children become smart at school?

答案朗读 23

Children become smarter at school in many ways. First, they become smarter by becoming more knowledgeable, because they read and study different subjects through a curriculum. Second, they become more social, because they have to work with others in group projects and communicate with teachers and fellow students. They also learn how to solve problems and perform under stress and time constraints.

Do you think smart children are happier than other children?

答案朗读 24

I don't think so. Sometimes smart children can be more socially isolated, because they might think the games other children play are kind of stupid, so they would rather read books or stay alone. They may also worry about big problems that are not fit for their age. All of this can make them feel lonely at times.

Do you think parents should teach their children how to protect the environment?

答案朗读 25

Yes, of course parents should teach their children how to protect the environment. Protecting the environment is important, and children should understand that they also have responsibilities. Parents spend a lot of time with their children, so they have more chances to teach them. They should be role models and show kids what to do rather than just telling them what to do.

What can people do to protect the natural world?

答案朗读 26

There are many things regular people can do. First, we can try to cycle to work rather than drive, because it can reduce emissions. Second, we can recycle and use paper bags instead of disposable plastic bags. We can also donate to charities that help protect forests or animals, and volunteer to clean the community.

Is it easy for children in cities to get close to the natural world?

答案朗读 27

I think it is becoming harder and harder for children in cities to get close to the natural world. There are fewer parks in cities because we need more space for commercial buildings, so it is hard for children to play in nature in their daily life. Also, children are busier with schoolwork, so they do not have enough spare time to take an adventure in the forest. Cities have also grown larger, so it takes longer to travel to the suburbs or rural areas.

Which do you think people prefer, rewards or punishments, when it comes to government intervention in environmental protection?

答案朗读 28

Of course people prefer rewards rather than punishments, because nobody wants to be punished. I think humans are more motivated by positive feedback than negative feedback. However, punishments are also very important, especially when we are talking about big industries and businesses. They need to be regulated, and if they break the law, they should be harshly punished because they have a much bigger impact than regular people.

What is the most important thing for learning a new language?

答案朗读 29

I think the most important thing for learning a new language is to use it in your daily life. Many Chinese people learn English in high school, but they do not speak English well because they only listen to teachers or read textbooks. They never use English to express their own thoughts. If we connect the language with real life, such as writing a diary, reading newspapers, or watching movies in that language, it will be better for language learning.

How do people learn new things?

答案朗读 30

I think people learn new things through practice and repetition. For example, people who learn English need to memorize a word many times and use it repeatedly in different sentences. They also need to increase their exposure to the language, such as setting their computer system in that language or using it on social networks. People also learn from trial and error, because we learn from our mistakes.

Does speaking another language help you at work?

答案朗读 31

Yes, definitely. Sometimes there are customers from different countries who speak different languages, and people who know those languages can help communicate with them. Although there are translation apps now, if a real person speaks that language, it can provide customers with a human touch and a sense of respect. Also, because of globalization, many companies do business internationally, so the more languages you can speak, the more opportunities it opens up.

Are there many people who can speak foreign languages in your country?

答案朗读 32

Yes, I think there are more and more people who can speak foreign languages, especially English. One reason is globalization, because people need to communicate and work with foreigners. Another reason is that a second language course is mandatory in China, so most high school students learn English. Also, many people want to study in foreign schools, and some people learn foreign languages as a hobby.

What can today's children do to become famous?

答案朗读 33

Young people can become famous in different ways. For example, they can start their own TikTok channel and post videos. Some children may become famous by doing social work, and some young people can become famous through esports because many young people play video games. If they get really good at esports, they may become famous quite easily.

Do you want to become a famous person?

答案朗读 34

No, not really. I think it can be very stressful to become famous, because once you become famous, you get a lot of attention from other people and may lose your privacy. You may even be followed when you are just drinking coffee. It is also hard to maintain a good public image, because people will talk about you on social media, and many comments may be horrible. That can be bad for your mental health.

Is it easy to become famous in your country?

答案朗读 35

Yes, I think it is not that hard now, because almost everyone uses social media like TikTok or WeChat. If you produce high-quality content, you can get followers. Also, Chinese people like competitions, so there are many games and competitions. If you win something, it can help you gain some fame.

Do people become famous because of their talent?

答案朗读 36

I think some people become famous because of their talent. For example, someone who is good at painting may get a lot of fans or viewers if they post their works on social media. But sometimes people become famous for unexpected reasons. For example, someone may keep posting fashion content for a long time without becoming famous, but one day they tell a joke or do a good thing and suddenly become popular.
